POS discounts are nominal or percentage values that can be added to a shopping cart at the point of sale to give the buyer a discount. They are characterized by the fact that they are not applied automatically, but can only be used by active selection.

Examples of use:

  1. Issue free tickets at the POS

  2. Provide a 10% discount for members

  3. Give a $5 discount when showing an ID card

  4. etc.

Create and edit

POS discounts are always created per event. To do this, go to your event settings and click on Sales and POS Discounts. Here you will see a list of all POS discounts you have created. Select a discount to edit it.

Click on Add POS discount to create a new one.

Once a discount is created it will appear on the POS for selection.

Pro Tip: If you want to provide free tickets with a POS discount, create a discount with a value of 100%. This way, all tickets can also be offered free of charge at the point of sale.

For the sake of better readability, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (m/f/d) is waived. All personal designations apply equally to all genders.
