SegmentSegment Tracking
Via Segment, customer and tracking data can be made usable and further processed. It helps to standardize data collection, unifies user data sets and offers the possibility to forward data to any desired system.
Segment collects events from vivenu and allows to get detailed information about customers, their behavior, buying process and much more. You can use this data to link other tools such as email campaign managers, CRM systems, BI tools, tag managers and many more.
Segment setup
Segment is set up via your general settings. To do this, go to the Shop and Tracking tab in the Settings. Here you can enter your Segment API key. Afterwards, all data will be sent to Segment automatically.
Note: If you use the multi-event checkout, you can only create the integration at Seller level.
Tracking Events
All checkouts, including cancelled checkouts, can be output via the segment integration.
Note: Some variables may not be available for accounts in the EU or EFTA region due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
