Upgrades allow for the exchange of tickets within the same event. Customers can quickly and easily upgrade their tickets or exchange them for other tickets. It is not required to upgrade to more expensive tickets; switching to cheaper tickets is also possible, with the difference being retained and no refund given. This ensures that you, as the organizer, do not incur any losses.

During the upgrade process, a new internal transaction is created. The value of the tickets to be upgraded is converted into a voucher. This voucher is credited to the new transaction, leaving only the difference to be paid.

Note: When upgrading to cheaper tickets, the remaining amount is forfeited. A refund to the customer is not possible. If a refund is desired, we recommend canceling the old transaction and issuing a new one separately.

Note: Unlike rescheduling, upgrades can only be generally enabled for both external and internal bookings. Therefore, it is not possible to use upgrades exclusively for internal purposes. In such cases, we recommend using the rebooking feature.

For the sake of better readability, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (m/f/d) is waived. All personal designations apply equally to all genders.
