Vouchers
VouchersGeneral
Vouchers can be used to generate codes that correspond to a fixed value that can be redeemed in the checkout by ticket buyers. Vouchers are characterized by the fact that a residual value remains after use. The voucher is valid until the remaining value reaches $0.
Vouchers can be generated in two ways:
Creation of a voucher in the dashboard: The voucher is created by you directly in the dashboard. There is no direct transfer to the customer and you can decide what the code will be used for.
Sale of vouchers: The vouchers are sold as a product in an event. The code is generated automatically after a ticket buyer completes the purchase. The ticket buyer receives the voucher in a PDF design.
In the voucher overview via the Discounts; Vouchers module, both internally created vouchers and sold vouchers are displayed to you.
Examples of use:
Offer vouchers for sale to provide gift card options.
Issue a voucher for a customer who could not attend the event.
Prepare vouchers for a marketing campaign.
Much, much more.
VouchersSetup
A voucher can be created directly in the dashboard, similar to a promo code. This will generate a code that you can use and send as you wish.
In the Dashboard, go to the Discounts and Vouchers module to create a voucher. This view lists all the vouchers that have ever been created or sold along with their original and residual values.
The following settings are available in the dashboard when creating a voucher:

If you are on the details of an existing voucher, you can download a PDF with the voucher design via Download. This design can be changed for sold vouchers via the module Products. If you have created a voucher internally, a standard design will be used. For sold vouchers, the voucher will be sent by email to the corresponding buyer of the voucher.
VouchersSell
Attention: These functions are only available with the Products module.
To sell a voucher, it must be added as a product in the dashboard. These products are then added to an event to offer them during the checkout flow. If you add products to an event where tickets are already sold, they will appear as an upselling option in a subsequent step. When selling products in an event without tickets, they are offered directly in the checkout. After the transaction is completed, the voucher will be sent to the ticket purchaser as a PDF in your design. The voucher will also appear in your voucher overview.
1 Create stream
Before you can set up a voucher or a product, you first have to create a stream.
What is a stream?
A stream reflects a category to which single products can be added. To offer products in an event checkout, the streams is linked to the event instead of the individual products. This saves the work of having to select each individual product in the events. A product can also be assigned to multiple streams at the same time.
A stream consists only of a name and the activation. An example of a stream would be "vouchers" or "merchandise".
To create a stream, go to the Products and Streams module. Here you will see a list of all the streams that have been created so far. Click on a stream to edit it. Select Create Stream in the upper right corner to create a new stream.
2 Create a product
In the next step, the voucher has to be created as a product in the dashboard to store all settings and variants.
To do this, select the Products module and click Create Product. Enter all the necessary information for the product.

Once the products have been created and linked to the stream, the stream can be added to the desired event.
You can sell products in events with tickets as well as in events without tickets. If tickets are offered in the same checkout, the products will be shown as an upsell option.
Select your event and go to the Sale tab. Scroll down and activate the Sell products button. Then you can select the stream that should be offered.
