This integration offers one-way synchronization from vivenu to Salesforce. You will primarily configure this within vivenu, then map fields to your existing Salesforce setup.

Key Information

  1. Synchronization Direction: vivenu -> Salesforce only. Backfill is not supported.

  2. "Name" Field Requirement: For checkout and transaction records, the "Name" field in Salesforce must be a text type and will store the vivenu resource ID.

  3. Synchronization Speed: Changes usually appear in Salesforce within seconds but may take longer under heavy load.

  4. Customer Identification: vivenu identifies customers by email, and this behavior is mirrored in Salesforce contact creation and updates.

  5. Salesforce User for Integration: Consider creating a dedicated Salesforce user for this integration. This user needs read access to schema and read/write access to instances of all Salesforce objects and fields used by the integration.

Install the App in vivenu

  1. Navigate to the vivenu Marketplace and install the Salesforce integration app onto your vivenu seller account. This grants the integration an access token for your vivenu resources.

Connect to Salesforce

  1. In vivenu, go to Settings.

  2. Click Connect to Salesforce.

  3. Establish the Salesforce connection via API keys.

Configure Fields in Salesforce

  1. The integration does not alter your Salesforce schema. Ensure your Salesforce organization has the necessary custom objects and fields already configured to receive data from vivenu.

  2. The Salesforce user connecting the app must have appropriate access to these objects and fields.

Map Fields in vivenu

  1. In vivenu, go to Exports.

  2. Select all the vivenu fields you wish to sync to Salesforce.

  3. The integration dashboard will provide type requirements for Salesforce custom fields to ensure a 1-to-1 mapping.

  4. Map these vivenu data fields to their corresponding Salesforce objects and fields. You can map as many fields as necessary.

Go Live

  1. Once mapping is complete, save your configuration. Your integration is now live.
