General
Fees can be used to generate additional revenue or to identify specific ticket components. Fees can be calculated either as fixed amounts or variable percentages.
In the vivenu system, there are two ways to define fees:
Standard Fees
Standard fees are summed up during the checkout process and displayed as pre-sale fees. The amount can be freely set both at the organizer level and individually at the event level. Various calculation bases are available. Standard fees are used when there are no special requirements and a simple display of the fee in the checkout is sufficient.
Fee Schemes
Fee schemas are used when there are specific requirements that cannot be covered by standard fees. Examples include different fees per ticket that should be listed with individual names, or fee components that are included in the ticket price and not charged additionally. We recommend using fee schemas only when standard fees are insufficient.
These two methods allow for flexible and transparent handling of the fee structure in the vivenu system.
