App access
There are two different ways to log in via the vivenu Access Control App:
Token Login: Restricted access, login via QR code
User Login: Unrestricted access, login via dashboard user
Which access is the most suitable depends on the user. Generally, we recommend to use the vivenu app always via a token login, unless access to sales statistics and transactions is required.
App accessToken Login
General
If the app is only used for access control and no access to sales statistics and transaction details should be granted, you can scan a token from the dashboard to log in via the app.
A token is a combination of numbers and letters that can be scanned via a QR code and used as a password. A token always belongs to a so-called access control device, which can be created in the dashboard.
The following rights are available to you via the token login:
Ticket checkin and checkout
Checkin statistics
Ticket overview
Device settings
Pro Tip: Use the login via a token for checkin staff, which is only used for scanning the tickets.
1 Generate Token
To use the token login, you must first create a token or an access control device in the dashboard. The token is a number-letter combination which is displayed via the access control device in the dashboard. To create a token, follow the steps below:
In the Dashboard, go to the Access Control module.
Select Open Actions at the bottom right and click on "New Device" to generate a new device. If you have already created devices, you can use them as well.
Select a suitable device name. This will only be displayed internally in your listing. Confirm your entry with Ok. The new device will then appear in the listing.
Pro Tip: You can use the same token for an infinite number of devices at the same time. The token only determines the access rights. If you want all your access control devices to have the same access, it is sufficient to create a single token.
2 Manage event access
Event access can be restricted for each token or access control device. This allows you to determine in advance which tickets can be scanned via which token.
Follow the steps below to manage event access:
In the Dashboard, go to the Access Control module.
Select the access control device you want to manage from the list.
Deactivate the switch Full event access if the devices which are logged in with this token should only get limited access.
Select the events you want to add using the drop-down menu. You can add as many events as you like. The devices can then only access the tickets of these events.
Pro Tip: As a rule, we recommend activating full event access. This can be limited on the end devices at any time.
3 Log in with token
After you have created the access control device, you can use the token of this device to log in to the vivenu access control app and start checking in.
The login via token works as follows:
In the Dashboard, go to the Access Control module.
Select the access control device you want to use for login.
Go to Show Token to display the token as a QR code.
Open the vivenu Access Control app on your device.
Click Scan Token from the Scan menu.
Scan the token from the dashboard.
You are now successfully connected to the access control device.
4 Log out token
If you want to scan a new token or just reset the devices, you can remove the token from the vivenu app. To do this, proceed as follows:
Open the vivenu Access Control app on your device.
Click on the settings wheel at the bottom right.
Scroll down and select Reset Token. Confirm your selection with Reset. To continue using the app, you will need to log in again.

Attention: Admin functions are only available via iOS devices.
Use the app with your dashboard login data to have full access to statistics, sales figures, transaction history and the access control solution. The basic functions available via the token login are of course available in the same form.
The following rights are additionally given via the account login:
All rights of the token login
Ticket, revenue and sales statistics
Event listing incl. sales figures
