Tickettypes & PricesNo Ticket Changes
When creating a secret shop, it inherits the ticket type settings that were active in the regular event at the time the secret shop was created. Therefore, no additional settings are required in this case.
Note: Any subsequent changes in the event regarding ticket type name, description, activation, price, and volume will not be automatically updated in the secret shop and will need to be adjusted manually.
Tickettypes & PricesAdjust Ticket Types
General
To define alternative ticket prices and volumes, you can simply override the existing ticket types in the secret shop. The original ticket type ID remains unchanged, while only the price and volume are adjusted.
In addition to changing prices and volumes, tickets can also be activated or deactivated as needed for the secret shop.
Advantages:
No need for new ticket types, which significantly reduces management effort.
Disadvantages:
Since the same ticket type ID is used and only data is overwritten, analyses and reports may become less clear.
Other settings such as cart automations or ticket templates are also tied to the ticket type. If these differ, they cannot be covered with the same ticket type.
Setup
To adjust the existing ticket types for your secret shop, follow these steps:
Go to the event settings and select Secret Shops. Choose the desired secret shop to open its settings.
Select the Ticket Categories tab.
Open the configurations for the desired ticket type.
Modify the data as needed.
Click Save.
Note: Due to the described disadvantages, we primarily recommend activating new ticket types.

No Ticket Changes: Offer the same ticket types with the same conditions as in the regular shop.
Adjust Ticket Types: Offer the same ticket types but with different conditions than in the regular shop.
Activate New Ticket Types: Offer different ticket types with new conditions compared to the regular shop.
Each of these options has its own advantages and disadvantages. These will be explained in more detail below.
